Renewing Your Prescription

Please also note that all prescription refills are processed Monday through Thursday, between 8:30 AM and 4:00 PM, and on Friday, between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM. Please allow 24 hours for the processing of your request. If you anticipate needing a prescription refill, please bring it to our attention during those hours. The physician on call will not refill medications after hours or on weekends.

If you have not heard from this office after obtaining outside diagnostic tests, please contact this office within 3 to 5 business days of the exam, to make a follow up appointment, so that the doctor may discuss the results with you in person. General Billing Information

What if I have a question regarding my bill? What information should I have ready when I call?
We are here to help you understand your bill. However, we can only help to explain bills after the insurance company or health plan has taken action. If your insurance company or health plan has not already taken action on your claim, you should call them before calling Valley Orthopedics.

For faster service, please have the following information available when you call Valley Orthopedics with a billing question:

  • patient name
  • name of the person who accepts financial responsibility for the bill (or insurance policy holder)
  • the account number shown on the bill
  • date the service was rendered

You should also have your insurance card ready in case we need the name of the insurance company, identification number, coinsurance or copayment amounts, or other information included on the card.

Can you help me with questions regarding my insurance or health plan benefits?
Since insurance companies and health plans have different payment levels and payment rules that vary by individual and change over time, we recommend that you call your insurance company or health plan with specific benefit questions.

For your convenience, we are available from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday by calling (602) 633-3838.
